It all started when…

I let my heart lead the way toward a new career.
I had never received professional massage before.
I had never visited the Lauterstein-Conway Massage School before.

Still, I enrolled based on my heart’s desire to connect and help others heal…..and I’ve never been happier!

Diagnosed with Type I Diabetes (aka “juvenile diabetes”) at the age of 10, keeping close track of my diet, exercise, and medicines has been a lifelong balancing act. I’m happy to finally share my lessons & experiences with others on their self-care journey. I’m here to help!

I moved to Austin in 2007 (am I local yet?) after graduating from Indiana University’s Honors L.A.M.P. (Liberal Arts Management Program) to earn my degree in Sociology. In Austin, I’ve journeyed as a professional drummer, EMT, phlebotomist, and medical volunteer. I have even traveled to Arusha, Tanzania as a medical volunteer to set up a Diabetes Clinic at the local hospital. Connecting with people on the other side of the world fortified my belief that we all need a little help sometimes. No matter where you are.

I am happiest when I connect and share with others…..and play with my cat, “Spider.” He adopted me on a cold night in November by running through a busy parking lot, climbing up my leg, and literally jumping into my arms! He definitely earned a spot in my heart that day!

When I’m not doing massage, I enjoy running around Town Lake, playing board games, DIY/learning new skills, and drumming (yes, that’s me!).
